Hello, I'm Jessica.
Welcome to Studio Jessica Rose – I'm so happy you're here.
I'm an artist, illustrator and surface pattern designer based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Before picking up a paintbrush full-time, I spent many years working as a florist, and that love of flowers, nature and the Australian landscape continues to inspire everything I create today.
I work with watercolour, gouache, pen and ink, as well as richly textured acrylics and oils, creating original paintings, fine art prints and greeting cards that I hope bring a little beauty, joy and connection into your home.
Although I completed a Diploma of Fine Art in 2012, I've been creating for as long as I can remember. In 2018, I began sharing my work with the world through collaborations with Society6, Redbubble, Spoonflower and brands including TJ Maxx and Urban Outfitters. Today, I design and produce my own collection of greeting cards, proudly printed in Australia on 100% recycled cardstock.
When I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me spending time with my wonderful partner and our two beautiful children, chasing inspiration outdoors, or dreaming up my next collection. Motherhood, painting and flowers are the three things that fill my heart the most, and I feel incredibly lucky that they're all part of my everyday life.
